The T5 is Control4’s next-generation in-wall touchscreen, engineered for a cleaner look, simpler installation, and a significantly smarter user experience. Available in 8″ and 11″ sizes, in Midnight Black (matte) and White (gloss), with magnetic trim rings that match the Control4 Lux lighting range for a fully unified aesthetic throughout the install.
Key new features include a proximity sensor that wakes the screen as users approach, quad-microphone array, Dark Mode, a dynamic screensaver with active media controls, and a future-ready GPU platform that supports ongoing feature updates via Auto Firmware Update — no integrator action required.
Installation is simplified with single-cable PoE (IEEE 802.3af), flush surface mount, minimal bezel, and standard 2-gang back box compatibility. An optional AC power supply accessory (C4-T5IW-AC) is available for non-PoE installations. Minimum supported OS is Control4 X4.2.
